From our historic house and collections to our moorland and coastline, we need you to support the team and volunteers in co-curating partnerships, programmes and experiences that reflect the diversity and richness of the communities we serve. As Community, Participant and Volunteering Co-ordinator, you will manage and support our volunteers here at Ormesby Hall, as well as to facilitate community group activities and relationships.You will support the team by recruiting and inducting new volunteers, as well as widening and diversifying opportunities for local communities to participate. Your role will feed into the work we do to ensure every child grows up with opportunities to explore nature and experience wonder. Ormesby Hall sits within 248 acres in the densely populated urban area of South Tees and will be the main office base. However, the role also covers Tees Valley and the North Yorkshire Moors and Coast, an area of over 6,000 acres comprising moorland, coast, and woodland. The role will support the wider team and wider communities to reduce barriers to end unequal access to Nature, Culture and Heritage. Salary: £27,612 per annum FTE (£22,089.60 pro rata for 30 hrs/week)Working Hours: 30 hours per weekContract Type: This is a fixed term contract due to end when the postholder returns to the role. At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to be more than 12 months. Working Pattern: This role will involve some weekend working.
