Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers as part of the Battery Assembly area providing guidance, support and mentorship.
2. Develop & implement department strategy for power tooling, working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
3. Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes for Battery Assembly, ensuring quality standards, cost targets, and delivery schedules are met.
4. Excellent knowledge about Li-Ion Battery assembly processes like cell sorting, laser welding, Battery charging Discharging, Data traceability as per Industry 4.0 requirements.
5. Good knowledge about different Battery validation processes.
6. Cost effective solutions on Poka Yoke.
7. Good knowledge about layout preparations, TAKT Time calculations, Throughput time, cycle time & line balancing.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and quality to optimize product design for manufacturability and resolve any manufacturing issues.
