JOB DESCRIPTION
Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks an Area Manager to join its industry leading sales team. You’ll be responsible for revenue and profit growth of programs and services in targeted accounts. With strong account leadership, you’ll also convert strategic competitive accounts and sell new technologies to current customers. You will work closely with sales team on strategic current and prospective customers to help define key business decisions, and to recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales in assigned area.

What You Will Do:
8. Generate and execute sales plans in existing customer base and in assigned competitively-held accounts, to meet profit increase goals.
9. Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales
10. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executives
11. Ensuring all safety training and safety results meet group standards.
12. Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required
13. Responsible for forecasting revenues & profitability for area customers.
14. Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels
15. Actively sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with Nalco Water

Minimum Qualifications:
18. Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, .
19. Successful technical sales and sales management experience.
20. Possess a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record

Preferred Qualifications:
22. Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience
