Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant | Support Roles in Sutton
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to support a range of SEND schools across Sutton. These are full-time, long-term roles, ideal for individuals with a degree and a passion for working with young people with additional needs.
The Role:
Provide tailored classroom support to students with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and develop key life skills
Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement individual learning plans (EHCPs)
Foster an inclusive, nurturing environment that supports emotional regulation, social development, and learning
Assist with classroom organisation and behaviour management, adapting approaches to meet diverse needs

A degree (required) in any subject - psychology, education, or related fields are particularly valued
A genuine interest in supporting children and young people with special educational needs
Previous experience working with SEND students (highly desirable)
