Duties as Lead Food Technology Teacher:
* Lead and develop an engaging, forward-thinking Food Technology curriculum.
* Inspire and motivate students to develop practical skills, creativity, and a strong understanding of nutrition and food science.
* Support and mentor team members, sharing best practice and fostering professional development.
* Take responsibility for departmental outcomes, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student progress.
* Promote a safe, inclusive and high-achieving learning environment within a well-resourced food technology suite.
Ideal Lead Food Technology Teacher:
* A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a specialism in Food Technology.
* Proven track record of excellent classroom teaching and strong student outcomes.
* Experience of curriculum planning, assessment and delivering GCSE (and/or BTEC) qualifications.
* A commitment to raising aspirations and achievement across all key stages as Lead Food Technology Teacher.
* Strong leadership qualities with a collaborative and supportive approach.
