Learning Support Assistant Position: Learning Support Assistant Location: West Sussex Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time Contract Type: Permanent, Term-Time Only About the Role: Randstad Education is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our network of schools across West Sussex. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children in primary education, working closely with teachers to create a positive and engaging classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and supporting students' learning. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who need additional help. Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Assist with classroom management and behaviour support. Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources. Support students with special educational needs (SEN) as required. Participate in school activities, events, and parent meetings as needed. Requirements: Experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting. A patient, caring, and supportive approach to working with children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential.
