<div><h3>Line Producer (Documentary series)</h3><p><b>Department:</b> Crew</p><p><b>Employment Type:</b> Freelance</p><p><b>Location:</b> London, Islington</p><p>We are seeking a freelance Line Producer (Documentary Series) to join the production as soon as possible, with a potential contract running through to January 2027. Full time and based in London.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Support the Production Executive and rest of the team from pre‑production, filming, post and through to final delivery</li><li>Manage the production & post team in UK and manage shoots in the US</li><li>Manage, and reconcile series budget, including production, post‑production, and AI animation costs</li><li>Track actuals against the approved budget on a weekly basis, providing clear variance analysis and proactive mitigation plans to the EIC and HOP</li><li>Oversee purchase orders, supplier contracts, and payment schedules</li><li>Act as lead point of contact for AI animation pipeline, working closely with the AI vendors</li><li>Manage all production legal requirements including contributor releases, location agreements, archive licences, and music clearances</li><li>Oversee AI‑specific clearance requirements</li><li>Coordinate with the productions insurance broker on full coverage for the production including AI elements</li><li>Work with the Post Producer and offline/online editors to maintain the post‑production schedule from assembly cut through to deliver</li></ul><h3>Skills, Knowledge and Expertise</h3><ul><li>Experience of managing teams in the UK and across worldwide locations is, whilst running multiple edits in London.</li><li>Problem solving ability and collaborative working style</li><li>Strong PMI experience including re‑budgeting and cost reporting to networks is essential</li><li>Experience of Post workflows and delivering to international streaming platforms</li><li>Experience of AI workflows and delivery is preferable</li><li>Experience delivering to Nat Geo/ Discovery/ Disney is preferable, including post production deliverables</li><li>Familiarity with US filming practices a plus</li></ul></div>
