Water Hygiene Technician Location: South Coast / M3-M4 Corridor (Southampton, Portsmouth, Basingstoke, Reading) Job Type: Full Time, Field Based A well-established national provider of air hygiene and water treatment services is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join their growing team. The company delivers specialist compliance services across sectors including healthcare, education, government, and high-security facilities. This is a field-based role covering sites across the South Coast and along the M3/M4 corridor. The successful candidate will carry out a range of water hygiene and occasional air hygiene compliance tasks at client locations. Key Responsibilities TMV servicing and maintenance Down service disinfections (mains or tank fed) Monthly water monitoring in line with ACoP L8 and HSG 274 guidance Inspection of cold water storage tanks and hot water vessels Water sampling and logbook updates Water softener servicing and disinfection Occasional air hygiene tasks including fire damper testing and basic ventilation maintenance Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience in Water Hygiene Legionella Awareness qualification (essential) City & Guilds in TMV Servicing (desirable) Knowledge of current Legionella and water hygiene legislation Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to obtain Enhanced DBS clearance Full UK driving licence Benefits Company van (personal use option) Fuel card Company pension Life assurance Employee Assistance Programme (wellbeing support) Ongoing training and structured progression plan 33 days holiday including public holidays Additional day off for your birthday If you have experience in water hygiene compliance and Legionella control and are looking to join a stable, growing organisation with strong training and progression opportunities, apply today.
