We are seeking a number of Civils Operatives to support civils and asphalt works across highways, reinstatement, and general streetworks environments. The role combines hands-on site duties, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient delivery of works on both day and night shifts.
Shift patterns may vary depending on programme requirements, weather conditions, and client needs.
Key Responsibilities for Civils Operatives
* Join civils and asphalt teams with reinstatement, excavation, backfilling, and surfacing tasks.
* Assist with site preparation, including signing, lighting and guarding in accordance with NRSWA requirements.
* Carry out manual handling, loading/unloading, and general labouring duties as required.
* Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
* Work collaboratively with supervisors, gangs, and other operatives to meet programme targets.
* Follow all health, safety, environmental and quality procedures on site.
* Represent the company professionally when interacting with the public, clients, and other stakeholders.
