I am a disabled lady who uses a wheelchair. I am looking for female personal assistants to join my team to fill a fixed hour position or to provide holiday and sickness cover.
I need help with my personal care and to dress. I will also need help with my meals.
I make use of a hoist and so it is essential that you have moving and handling training.
Someone who is fun would be a benefit. Must be a good worker.
I would also like to go out for meals with my PA. To do this I will need support to use a taxi or the local buses. Driving is not essential for this role as it would be a struggle for my wheelchair to be placed in a vehicle.
There are 3 positions available within the current team. One of these will be for 12 hours per week fixed/contracted hour. Two positions have no guaranteed hours to provide cover when others in the team are on holiday or sick leave. You will be given as much notice of shifts as is reasonably practicable. Please indicate as part of your application, which contract type you are interested in.
Rate of Pay is £12.87 per hour
