Job Title Lead Joint Venture Account Manager Location Glasgow or London Salary from £65,600, up to 20% bonus, family health cover and car allowance Flexible Working Pattern Closing Date 30/04/2024 Help us create a better future, quicker The Lead Joint Venture (JV) Account Manager is a critical role in the O&M Department that sits within the UK Offshore Renewables Business, reporting to the UK Head of Asset Management. The Lead JV Account Manager prime responsibility will be to manage the Operation and Maintenance Agreement (OMA) and ensure the delivery of contract obligations as Service Provider. They will be the main point of contact towards partners and will lead the associated governance processes for the operational assets. The role will be responsible for reporting of HSE, financial and performance of multi-million offshore Service contracts. This role will be responsible for the Project value optimisation both for ScottishPower and JV Partners. In addition, the individual will manage contractual and commercial risks and seek out opportunities to optimise and drive the performance of the OMA contracts. This role will include working closely with teams from Construction, Operations, Legal, Insurance, Finance and Group Purchasing teams to ensure contracts are managed effectively. The position may require travel to various locations in the UK and overseas. As the projects in the current pipeline transfer out of construction into operational phase the new entities and JV partner responsibilities will fall under this role. As this transition happens and the operational portfolio grows, this role will also evolve. The individual will establish and lead a team to manage all activities to ensure all Operations and Maintenance Agreement Obligations are met. What you'll be doing This role will support the Head of Asset Management and manage the JV OMA portfolio as projects move into operations. Main responsibilities include: Negotiating OMA agreements and commercial management for OMA delivery. Leading the Stakeholders' relationships including the governance processes. Focus on HSE strategy and oversee delivery of initiatives through to completion. Report feedback to partners. Providing HSE, performance and financial reporting. Daily interface with site team to understand the key activities within the windfarm. Interface with internal Stakeholders and responsible to improve cross department relationships. Steering projects to improve performance and reduce CAPEX/OPEX. Provide proactively recommendations and advice on OMA management. Provides to the O&M management team analysis regarding benchmark and operational results. Managing claims and OMA variations from partners. Work with the rest of the Asset Management Team to ensure that comprehensive analysis of all financial and non-financial business performance can be prepared and communicated both internally and externally. What you'll bring Degree level qualification Significant experience in managing and developing stakeholder relationships. Preferably with JV partners although project interfaces experience may suffice. Experienced Asset Manager with a demonstrated history of working within JV and Asset Management in the renewables sector (other relevant experience will be considered) High level of commercial awareness with a good understanding of the renewables business Detailed knowledge of renewables projects economics and financing requirements Ability to combine professional and commercial expertise and co-ordinate the skills of others to achieve successful results. Delivery focus and high level of resilience to deal with the continually changing demands and time-pressures of the role Good practical knowledge of IT applications / systems including SAP Requirement for travel to attend meetings and visit sites.
