12-month fixed term contract.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Cashier to join our Finance team at Care UK.
The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the provision of an efficient and accurate Cashiering function in a robust control environment whilst providing support to colleagues in the team to ensure that operational processes and procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities
* Transactional management of the receipts and expense bank accounts
* Liaise with care homes and customers for payments received and home banking information
* Maintain the Direct Debit Ledger
* Manage the deposit suspense account
* Monitor cashier mailboxes, printing remittances, cash, banking and reconciliation
* Maintain the remittance log
* Produce refunds cheques to customer account on the finance system
What We're Looking For
* Experience in an administrative role ideally within a finance team
* Excellent data management skills
* Ability to pick up and learn the company’s financial system
