Job Title: Administration Officer
Bridport Primary School is looking for an Administration Officer to join our fantastic team. Could this be you?
Salary: £21,323 - £21,662 per annum (Grade 5)
Employment Type: Full Time - Term Time Only: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, including Inset Days.
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: Approximate start date: 14 July 2025
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, personable, and highly organized Admin Officer to ensure the smooth operation of our daily activities. You will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and stakeholders, representing the school and embodying its values, vision, and ethos. Experience in a school office environment is advantageous.
Candidate Requirements
* Well presented and articulate with excellent communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with pupils, staff, and parents
* Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
* Self-motivated, dedicated, and consistent
* Ability to handle challenging situations
* Team player with initiative
* Positive and flexible attitude
* Experience in a school office or similar environment (advantageous)
* Strong ICT skills, including fast and accurate keyboarding
* Clean driving license and own transport for travel across multiple sites
