Are you looking for a flexible, remote role that allows you to work from anywhere in the world?
Do you have access to a good Wi-Fi connection and a laptop or desktop with webcam and audio?

As a Remote Interpreter, you will facilitate communication between clients and individuals with limited English proficiency, working remotely via phone or video calls. Your role involves interpreting conversations accurately and efficiently in various professional settings.
Please note: this is a self-employed position.
Requirements
The Job
* Interpreting between English and your native language via phone or video.
* Providing interpretation services to clients with limited English proficiency.
* Interpreting for legal, health, and local government services.
* Checking understanding with non-English speakers after each sentence.
* Conducting conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting.
* Ensuring accurate, confidential, and impartial interpreting services.
* Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to the Code of Conduct.
About You
* Fluent in English and another language.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
* You must be aged 21 or over.
* Qualifications such as:
o Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI)
o Community Interpreting
o NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registration (advantageous)
o Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
o Other interpreting-related qualifications
