Overview
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and customer‑focused Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences by providing attentive, efficient, and high‑quality service to all guests. Key Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome guests in a warm, professional manner.
* Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
* Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation and quality standards are consistently met.
* Provide knowledgeable menu recommendations and actively upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
* Set up tables, clear dishes, and maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout service periods.
* Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
* Work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth food preparation and timely delivery.
* Respond to guest enquiries and concerns professionally, resolving issues promptly to maintain a positive dining experience.
* Process payments accurately using the POS system and issue receipts as required.
* Support colleagues during busy service periods to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is an advantage, but not essential (training will be provided).
* Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is desirable.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
* Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
* Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately for billing purposes.
* Experience working in a fast‑paced hospitality or kitchen environment is beneficial.
* Genuine passion for customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Visa & Employment Contribution
This position may be offered with visa sponsorship support, subject to eligibility and immigration regulations. The employee is required to contribute 34% of the total visa‑related costs, in line with company policy and applicable legal requirements.
