School Caretaker
We are seeking a reliable a School Caretaker to join a dedicated site team in the Borehamwood This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a strong can:do attitude and a background in trades, ensuring a safe, clean, and well:maintained environment for students and staff.
Role Overview

Pay Rate: GBP13.68 per hour.
*
Hours: 40 hours per week.
*
Shift: 9am:5pm / 23rd till 27th March
*
Location: Borehamwood
Key Responsibilities
*
Site Security: Responsibility for the opening and closing of school premises, ensuring all areas are secure.
*
Health and Safety: Ensuring walkways are clear and safe.
*
Grounds Upkeep: General maintenance of outdoor areas, including litter picking and seasonal tasks (e.g., gritting during winter).
*
Contractor Liaison: Assisting external contractors during site visits and ensuring works are completed safely.
Requirements
*
Vetting: A valid Enhanced DBS check is essential for this role.
*
Reliability: A punctual and dependable approach, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
*
Communication: Good interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with school leadership, staff, and pupils.
