Your Tasks
1. Operate as a member of the whole team in the Barony Production Department helping to achieve optimum plant utilisation and efficiency.
2. Contribute an acceptable level of housekeeping in the department and to maintain a safe, clean and tidy workplace, machinery and site.
3. Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the Production Department within the relevant grade.
4. Complete shift reports as required and to carry out appropriate shift handovers including any specific production relevant information.
5. Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents, accidents, hazards and near misses are duly reported.
6. Ensure all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety manual are followed and that safety equipment and PPE is in good order and used at all times.
7. Liaise with the Shift Supervisor as to the condition of the Mechanical/Electrical equipment and regarding production issues.
8. Observe and comply with the Company Quality Systems as detailed in the Quality Manual.
9. Attend any further training as required.
Our Requirements
10. Reasonable standard of secondary education.
11. ForkLift Truck Licence.
12. Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
