Head of Nursing - Community Nursing Services
We are looking for an outstanding leader who is both compassionate and visionary to lead our Community Nursing Services. You will be an experienced Community Nursing Leader who thrives in complex environments and has determination and resilience to drive improvements in community care. You will have a proven track record of leading change in a community setting.
You will provide strategic nursing leadership for our community nursing services, ensuring safe high-quality and patient-centred care.

Responsibilities
Provide senior leadership.
Support the Deputy Chief Operating Officer (DCOO) to manage the operational performance of community services.
Act as delegated lead for safety, quality, governance and patient experience.
Work with the service to develop the strategic direction and vision which maximises business efficiency, effectiveness, flexibility and staff morale.
Support the development of a culture within community services, that is open and transparent and supports and empowers innovation, creativity and learning at all levels.
Provide strong visible and professional leadership to nursing and allied healthcare staff across community services.
Be accountable for the direct delivery of safe and effective clinical care and advise the Senior Management Team on professional nursing and other clinical staff groups (AHPs) issues.
Act as the service lead and link for both the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and the Director of Nursing on all nursing related matters.
Work with senior managers across the organisation to ensure effective patient flow whilst maintaining quality of care.
Participate in the Trust’s on call rota.
