I'm working with Farnborough College of Technology, a highly respected institution with a reputation for excellence, to help find enthusiastic and motivated English Lecturers. They are ideally seeking part-time or sessional staff, but will also consider full-time appointments for the right candidate.
You'll be joining a dynamic team with a shared goal of delivering engaging and accessible English education to FE learners (16-18), preparing them for success in GCSE and/or Functional Skills. Being able to deliver one evening class per week would be an advantage.
Location: Farnborough (Aldershot)
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging lessons in GCSE and/or Functional Skills English
* Use creative and inclusive teaching strategies to meet a wide range of learning needs
* Support and inspire students to achieve their full potential
* Collaborate with the English team to maintain high-quality standards
* Deliver one evening class per week (desirable)
What We're Looking For:
* A relevant degree or equivalent in English or a related subject
* A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
* Experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills (ideally in an FE setting)
* Familiarity with current AQA specifications
* A team player with a genuine passion for English and learner success
