We’re looking for a fabulousMerchandiserto join ourMerchandising Teamand play a key role in driving sales, availability, and stock efficiency across our product ranges. You’ll work closely with the Buying team to forecast trends, manage budgets, and ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time.
You’ll be responsible for planning, analysing, and optimising stock levels to maximise sales and minimise risk—supporting our stores and online channels to deliver an exceptional customer experience
What You’ll Do
· Plan and present supplier budgets, ensuring effective allocation of financial resources.
· Manage Open to Buy (OTB) and stock forecasts, reacting to trade and performance.
· Forecast sales and stock at class and line level using our planning systems.
· Analyse best and worst sellers, taking action to optimise performance.
· Plan and review promotions and markdowns in collaboration with the Buying team.
· Support new product launches and gift set planning with accurate sales and stock forecasts.
· Provide monthly sales reports to suppliers and liaise on intake planning.
· Oversee supplier compliance and support the development of junior team members.
· Collaborate with Buyers, Suppliers, Distributors, Branch Merchandisers, and Logistics.
What You’ll Bring
· Proven experience as a Merchandiser in a retail environment.
· Excellent Excel skills and confidence with MS Office tools.
· Strong analytical and numerical skills with great attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
· Experience in line management and mentoring others.
· A proactive, organised approach with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
