* Ensure the design, delivery and evaluation of programme.

* Assess students’ work, both practical and theory.
Salary and progression
Please note that there are two salary scale points for Lecturer positions. All candidates will start at the introductory salary scale point unless certain criteria are met. Lecturers will normally move up to the highest salary scale once one full academic year of teaching for our group is complete. Lecturers must be in post by 1st September in any given year to qualify and this is subject to approval. Therefore, internal applicants in the same role may qualify for the higher salary scale, although they should seek clarification.
Please note this vacancy is to work 15 hours per week with a pro rata salary of £14,639 up to £16,037 per annum.
Requirements
You will be highly organised, creative and able to plan and teach engaging and innovative lessons with demonstrated interpersonal skills. Assessing and tracking student progress to inform intervention will be a vital part of the role and ensure all students develop the skills they need to succeed. It is desirable to have experience of teaching or have delivered training in the workplace; training will be offered to the successful applicant. You must have a positive outlook, be empathetic towards learners and have strong class management skills. You will be able to teach a range of designated study programs and/or courses from Level 1 up to Level 3 and will be able to motivate learners to achieve and succeed on their programmes of study.
