We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to work at our schools throughout Wandsworth and Merton.
Key Responsibilities
* Support pupil learning through the delivery of specific learning programmes, setting high expectations whilst encouraging independence and confidence.
* Mentor students 1:1, planning and leading booster and intervention sessions for difficult topics.
* Observe, record, and feedback on pupil performance.
* Assist in behaviour management and support pupils' learning objectives in liaison with teachers.
* Promote inclusion and encourage collaborative work among pupils.
* Adapt resources for EAL and SEND pupils to ensure safety and curriculum access.
* Assist in creating materials for curriculum delivery and display boards.
* Right to work in UK.
* Passion for and belief in every pupil's potential.
* Continuous professional development.
* Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service or willingness to pay for one.
* Experience working with children in tutoring or classroom settings.
* Experience managing children in formal settings.
* Maths and English GCSE or equivalent at grade C or above.
* Certified teaching assistant course or willingness to undertake one.

Pay rates include holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanent roles later.
