Overview
HR Advisor - Employee Relations & Reward role at Police Scotland. This role sits within the Human Resources Division and supports the provision of HR to officers and staff across the second largest police force in the UK. You will be at the heart of key people priorities by supporting our people strategy and handling complex employee relations matters, trade union relationships, mediation, redeployment and collective agreements, as well as helping shape pay and reward practices.
Responsibilities
* Support complex employee relations matters, trade union and statutory staff association relationships, mediation and redeployment.
* Assist in applying and negotiating collective agreements and pay and reward practices.
* Contribute to shaping pay and reward strategies and practices.
* Support the delivery of the people strategy and HR services to officers and staff.
Qualifications / Preferences
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to brief and engage senior managers on sensitive workforce issues
* Knowledge of pay and reward frameworks in a large, complex organisation and the ability to support development and implementation
* Ability to build constructive relationships with stakeholders, balancing organisational priorities with effective partnership working
