About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in West Bromwich. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled linguist to inspire students in their language learning and contribute to a forward-thinking MFL department.
The successful candidate will teach one or more languages (such as French, Spanish or German) across KS3 and KS4.
Role Responsibilites:
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in one or more modern foreign languages.
* Inspire students to develop a love for language learning and an understanding of other cultures.
* Monitor, assess, and report on student progress in line with school and national curriculum.
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
* Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and departmental resources.
* Uphold high standards of behaviour and academic performance in all lessons.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school.
Role Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* A degree in French, Spanish, German or a related field.
* Experience teaching MFL at secondary level (KS3 and KS4 essential; KS5 desirable).
* Excellent subject knowledge and up-to-date understanding of the MFL curriculum.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching languages.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
