We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Yard Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our yard and ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and environmental regulations.
The role includes managing yard activities, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring all statutory checks are completed. Duties will include carrying out Legionella inspections, completing routine fire alarm tests, coordinating fire drills, and arranging LOLER and general maintenance inspections. The role will also involve maintaining and updating ISO documentation and compliance paperwork.
Applicants must hold a minimum of IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) and have a good understanding of Health & Safety systems and ISO standards, with experience managing audits, records, and procedures. Previous experience in a yard, depot, or similar operational environment is essential.
