We are looking for experienced Senior Project Managers to join our expanding team and lead some of the most technically ambitious projects in the space sector. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee the delivery of complex programmes with significant software, electronics, and embedded systems content.
You’ll be required to be a client-facing leader, work closely with sales, engineering, and customer teams to shape opportunities, secure new business, and deliver world-class solutions that push the boundaries of space technology.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of Aerospace projects, spanning satellite systems, communications payloads, and advanced space-based sensing technologies.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear, professional communication at every level.
Lead high-performing, multidisciplinary teams covering software, electronics, RF, and systems engineering
Deliver projects on time and within budget, managing schedules, resources, risks, and change control in partnership with technical leads.
Provide transparent reporting and effective governance throughout the full project lifecycle.
Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes, with a focus on the unique challenges of space-sector programmes.
Collaborate with sales and engineering leads to scope opportunities, develop accurate cost and time estimates, and shape proposals that are both technically robust and commercially competitive.The Person
Demonstrated success in managing complex technical projects within the space industry covering satellite subsystems, payload electronics, software platforms, or space qualification programmes.
A strong technical foundation, a degree in aerospace, electronics, systems, or software engineering (or equivalent professional experience).
Familiarity with the unique demands of the space sector, including environmental testing, radiation effects, reliability engineering, and system-level validation.
Excellent leadership and people skills, with the ability to inspire, guide, and motivate high-performing teams.
A confident and persuasive communicator, able to engage effectively with stakeholders from hands-on engineers to senior executives.
Proficient in applying structured project management methodologies, while adapting delivery approaches to mission-critical environments.
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure, with a strong commitment to delivering excellence and client success
