Your New Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and organised HR Advisor to join a small, fast-paced construction business based in Blackpool (40 staff). This is a stand-alone position, reporting directly to the Operations Manager, where you'll operate in a generalist capacity, across HR and compliance.
With a strong focus on recruitment & onboarding, training and accreditation management, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys variety in their day-to-day responsibilities.
Your Responsibilities
In this multifaceted role, you'll be responsible for:
* Leading recruitment and onboarding processes for permanent staff and subcontractors.
* Managing inductions and training coordination.
* Overseeing fleet administration and compliance with construction accreditations (e.g., SafeContractor, Constructionline).
* Supporting absence and performance management.
* Organising wellbeing initiatives, employee events, and team-building activities.
* Maintaining HR policies and procedures relevant to the construction industry.
* Handling ER cases (low volume) and providing generalist HR support.
* Ensuring compliance with CIS schemes and construction-related legislation.
