We are looking for a passionate, focused individual to join our team in Dundee. The role is to manage our Housing Support and Accommodation teams, who support service users with a wide range of needs, including complex and challenging behaviours.
Our Housing Support and Accommodation teams have built a reputation for delivering pioneering services and outstanding outcomes for those who use our services and who are housed in our dispersed accommodation.

The post is subject to satisfactory references (one current or most recent employer and one character) and membership of the PVG (Adult) Scheme.
Successful applicants will be required to register with the Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of starting in this role and achieve registration within 6 months.
As Housing and Supported Accommodation Service Manager you will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for:
* Meeting the registered manager status with SSSC and Care Inspectorate for our Housing Support Service.
* Strategic and operational planning for the services.
* Operational management of Housing Support and Accommodation Services.
* Development, supervision and performance management of staff.
Main Duties;
* Ensure service users are supported using person-centred, trauma-informed and gender specific approaches to support and reviews, and that this is reflected in support plans.
* Ensuring an effective response to referrals and needs assessments.
* Working closely with local multi-disciplinary teams and community-based agencies to ensure service excellence.
* Maintaining high standards of environment, safety and quality of service.
* Ensure monitoring targets are sustained and attend monitoring meetings.
* Auditing the services and processes.
* Developing staff and training processes.
* Attendance at local strategic planning groups.
* Provide welcoming and inclusive services
* Ensuring services meet legislative and statutory obligations.
Key Skills;
* Have a relevant Social Care Qualification (Degree or SVQ Level 4 or 5) or be working toward this.
* Be registered or be prepared to register with SSSC and adhere to SSSC and Care Inspectorate regulations.
* Have relevant housing management qualification (CHI Level 3 or 4) or be willing to work towards this.
* Have experience in leadership in a housing support and accommodation services role.
* Have a proven management background and experience in supervising and supporting staff.
* Ability to collaborate and work in partnership with professionals, work colleagues, and service users.
* Knowledge and experience of housing related support, homelessness, dependency issues, inter agency working and the benefits system would be an advantage.
* Experience of working with adults with complex needs.
* Have experience in electronic support recording systems.
* Demonstrate a caring and professional ethos
* Confident in the use of Microsoft IT Packages
Special Requirements;
* Must have a full UK driving license.
* Must have daily use of a legal, roadworthy vehicle with appropriate insurance (maximum HMRC mileage allowance paid)
