GSL Education are currently seeking a SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Sheffield. This role offers the opportunity to create engaging and differentiated learning experiences tailored to meet the diverse needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs. As an SEN Teacher, you will: Plan, prepare, and deliver personalised lessons to meet the individual learning needs of pupils with SEN. Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported. Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other professionals to develop and implement effective support strategies. Monitor pupil progress, assess learning outcomes, and adapt teaching methods as required. Manage classroom behaviour positively, promoting engagement and self-confidence. Uphold high standards of safeguarding and ensure the well-being of all pupils in your care. Requirements for SEN Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, or SEMH needs. Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and behaviour management strategies. Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
