The Role My client are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior to Intermediate Lighting Designer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on prestigious architectural and high-end residential projects, both in the UK and internationally. You’ll be involved in every stage of the design process, from concept development to on-site coordination, while learning from experienced designers and contributing your own creative ideas. Key Responsibilities * Assist in developing lighting concepts and presentations * Produce technical drawings, specifications, and control schematics * Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and engineers * Attend site visits and client meetings * Support project documentation and design packages * Participate in research, sample reviews, and supplier liaison * Contribute creatively to team brainstorming and concept development About You * 1- 3 years of experience in lighting design, ideally within a consultancy * Experience working on architectural or high-end residential projects * Strong design sensibility with an eye for detail * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and either Dialux/Relux or other lighting calculation software * Knowledge of Revit or 3D modelling software is a bonus * A collaborative attitude and excellent communication skills * A desire to grow within a creative and fast-paced environment What They Offer * Competitive salary based on experience (£30,000–£35,000) * Flexible hybrid working (1–2 days in theirLondon office) * Opportunities to work on exciting, design-led projects * Team trips to major design events like Milan Design Week and Darc Sessions * Supportive studio culture with space to learn and grow * Creative freedom and involvement in every phase of the design journey
