Are you looking for an office-based and varied front-facing administration role in Bedford, with a great company to work, known for developing their staff and promoting from within?

Are you an approachable and friendly person, with experience of general administration, making travel arrangements and dealing with any facility maintenance issues that may occur?

If so, our rapidly expanding client based in Bedford is keen to hear from you!

Basic salary: £24,500 - £26,500 plus company bonus - there could be flexibility on the basic salary for the right candidate. Working Monday - Friday in the office - 9:00am - 5:30pm 37.5 hours per week.

Our client will consider candidates that have 1 years varied experience upwards - ideally people that deal with arranging travel and facilities suppliers such as PAT testing and alarm servicing etc…

The key thing we are looking for is someone that can build instant rapport and will be to go-to person in the office - always approachable and keen to help!

The Role:

You will be responsible for coordinating the Company's travel, accommodation and meeting requirements in line with the Company's travel policy. You will also be responsible for scheduling routine maintenance tasks for 3 UK offices. Working closely with the finance team you will support them when needed with administrative duties.

More Detail:

Coordinate all travel and accommodation requests ensuring that the travel is approved and in line with Company policies using the company credit card.
Organising meetings, schedule appointments and oversee catering requirements.
Organise equipment and supplies for meeting rooms.
Reconcile receipts and invoices against bookings to agreed timescales.
Co-ordinate office Facilities & maintenance activities across 3 UK offices.
Manage switchboard calls, ensuring calls are directed to the appropriate department.
Provide general administrative support to the Finance team.The Person:

Minimum of 1 years varied office administration experience
Positive, personable, can-do attitude, upbeat and a team player!
Well-organised and a true multi-tasker
Ability to build good relationships both internally and externally.
Good PC skills.
Experience of office administration and "keeping everything in order".
Able to work in a confidential environment and be responsible for handling sensitive
