Description
We are looking for a creative and organised Marketing Assistant to help deliver engaging marketing campaigns across our garden centres and related businesses. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will assist with social media, website updates, email newsletters, in-store promotions and events. A genuine interest in gardening is essential to ensure accurate, inspiring content and to connect with our customers' passion for plants and outdoor living.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the planning and delivery of seasonal marketing campaigns and promotions.
* Create and schedule content for social media, email newsletters, websites and printed material.
* Assist with photography, videography and editing for digital and print use.
* Help maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels.
* Liaise with suppliers, designers and internal teams to meet deadlines.
* Monitor campaign performance and provide basic analytics reports.
* Provide marketing support for garden-related events, talks and workshops.
Prerequisites
Key Skills & Attributes:
* Strong gardening knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for plants and outdoor living.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Competence in basic design or content tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Express or similar) and confidence using social media platforms.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* A creative mindset with an eye for detail and accuracy.
* Flexible, team-orientated approach and willingness to assist at events or across departments as needed.
Previous marketing experience or relevant qualifications desirable but not essential if you have strong gardening expertise and a willingness to learn.
Duration
Full Time – Monday to Friday
