Expleo is seeking a highly creative and skilled 3D Designer to join our team on a contract basis, working onsite with our automotive customer in Gaydon.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the physical expression of brand identity across a wide range of objects—from vehicle details to EV infrastructure, furniture, equipment, and accessories.
The 3D Designer will be creatively responsible for translating brand identity into tangible, physical design solutions. This includes working across multiple disciplines and product categories to deliver cohesive and impactful 3D designs.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary designers and vehicle designers to creatively translate brand design content into 3D solutions
* Create and implement 3D design solutions across multiple physical objects that coherently support the brand vision and position
* Take rough concepts through detail development into tangible and feasible solutions
* Manage stakeholders across interdependent design functions
Essential Skills
* Excellent 3D design experience gained in both agency and corporate settings
* Demonstrable experience delivering design solutions across multiple product lines in a 3D context
* Sensitivity to form and function
* Knowledge of production, manufacturing, and material processes
* Strong proficiency in digital modelling software – Alias, Blender, Rhino
* Real-time rendering capability in KeyShot or similar
* Unreal Engine experience preferable
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Comfortable working across different cultures, geographies, and time zones
* Able to adapt to a fast-paced design environment
