Team Manager, Global Client Delivery
Labcorp – Huntingdon, England, United Kingdom (Remote opportunity).
Responsibilities
* Supervise the day‑to‑day operations of the assigned customer or multiple functional team members, ensuring appropriate resource allocation and execution of project plans.
* Manage workload balance within the team and contribute to global resource management.
* Ensure seamless integration of team services, consistent implementation and review of SOPs, and monitoring of progress to achieve team goals.
* Implement, monitor, and report performance metrics, taking corrective action when appropriate.
* Maintain effective management communications, meetings, and procedural adherence.
* Participate in departmental or customer strategy execution, communicating strategy to the team and/or customer.
* Grow and develop the team: ensure workforce development, set performance objectives, and conduct timely performance evaluations.
* Manage a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and productivity; monitor and resolve customer complaints and issues.
* Deliver on customer commitments in accordance with world‑class project management and service excellence: apply best practices, update systems, lead client relationship activities, and proactively consult with customers.
* Collaborate cross‑functionally: assist project management leadership, work with Business Development Directors, and optimize client delivery consistently.
Minimum Experience Required
* 3–5 years of people‑leadership experience in a fast‑paced corporate/industrial environment.
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong customer‑service skills and ability to build client relationships.
* Lab experience in a central lab environment is seen as an added value.
* High initiative, collaborative mindset, and ability to identify gaps and act on them.
* Strong planning, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
* Track record of driving continuous improvement and successful project completion.
* Experience and knowledge of clinical trials.
Education
* Bachelor’s degree in a field of science is preferred.
* High school diploma required.
