The Role
As a Bookkeeper, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients' financial records are accurate, compliant, and up to date. You'll be the go-to person for day-to-day bookkeeping, working closely with clients and HMRC to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping for a variety of clients
* Prepare and submit VAT returns
* Manage purchase and sales ledgers (invoices, credit notes, bills)
* Input data from manual records (bank statements, invoices)
* Perform bank reconciliations
* Liaise with clients and HMRC regarding queries
* Process client payroll accurately and on time
* Assist clients with bookkeeping queries and missing information
* Set up and support QBO accounts; provide training if needed
* Maintain organised and accurate records
* Provide ad-hoc support as required

* Experience with QBO and/or Xero is a plus, but training can be provided.
