UK & Ireland Service Line Leader – Air, Noise & Climate Environment
Join Ramboll as the new UK & Ireland Service Line Leader for Air, Noise & Climate. You will lead a national team of multidisciplinary professionals, drive profitable growth, and champion technical excellence while delivering sustainable solutions for private and public sector clients.
Your new role
As a Director, you will report to the Environment and Health UK&I Director and work alongside other Service Line Leaders. You will be responsible for the operation, development and growth of our UK&I service line, maintaining key client relationships, business development strategy, and the performance of project portfolios.
Your new team
You will manage a team of approximately thirty air, noise and climate professionals across the UK.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Drive strategic direction: set purpose and align with global business requirements.
* Drive profitable growth: deliver revenue, growth and profit against budget and develop a Business Plan with financial KPIs.
* Technical excellence: enhance staff development, training, mentoring and work quality.
* Lead collaboration: build networks with other Ramboll business areas, geographies, and sectors.
* Recruitment and team building: plan recruitment and resource management for a resilient team mix.
* Foster innovation: integrate new methodologies and tools to improve value proposition.
* Risk management: implement governance, project management, compliance and decision gate processes.
* Win work: lead strategic client engagement, key account management and support trusted advisor relationships.
About You
* Appropriate degree in environmental sciences, engineering or a related discipline.
* Master’s degree is advantageous.
* Relevant sector experience and a proven track record in leadership and P&L management.
* Growth mindset with ability to drive revenue growth through sales and client relationships.
* Strong business acumen and understanding of market trends.
* Strategic management of workload, deliverables and resources across multiple projects.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Innovative thinker and collaborative partner.
* Full driving licence.
