Context
Meadow Well Connected currently offers services from The Meadows Community Centre and Gardens, aiming to address local inequality and support community resilience and aspirations. We strive for responsive, innovative, and adaptable service delivery, guided by our 2026–2029 strategic plan, involving community input, trustees, staff, and volunteers. The post holder should have a good understanding of the political and funding landscape and be able to foster strong stakeholder relationships.

Job purpose
The post holder will work closely with the Chief Officer, be part of the Senior Leadership team, and report to the Board of Trustees. Responsibilities include managing operational services, ensuring KPI achievement, contractual compliance, and alignment with our Strategic Plan, with an emphasis on continuous improvement. Budget management, data oversight, and reporting are integral to this role.
Key responsibilities and duties
* Governance and systems: Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans, ensure policy adherence, support business development, and oversee data management and quality assurance.
* People and Culture: Lead community development and frontline teams, oversee recruitment, training, supervision, performance management, and ensure health and safety compliance. Develop volunteering initiatives and uphold organizational values.
* Contract and Stakeholder management: Provide project analyses, develop reports for funders, build stakeholder relationships, and represent Meadow Well Connected externally.
* Finance and Business Development: Manage budgets, support service development, identify new funding opportunities, and ensure financial governance.
* Other Duties: Uphold equal opportunities, deputize for the Chief Officer, work flexibly, contribute to service improvements, represent the organization, and perform other reasonable duties.
