Senior Quality Engineer responsibilities include -
* Support the Production team by providing technical expertise in quality engineering.
* Lead and participate in internal and external quality audits.
* Manage customer complaints and drive corrective actions using 8D methodology.
* Develop and maintain quality management system documentation (APQP, PPAP)
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
* Analyse quality data from ERP systems and customer feedback to identify trends for improvement.
Senior Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience -
* Experience within a similar role, Quality Lead, Quality Manager etc.
* Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
* Knowledge of QMS, such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
* Able to use core tools such as 8D, PPAP, and Control Plans.
* Mechanical engineering education (HNC/HNC) or relevant training.
