About Us
The first American Formula 1 team to compete since 1986, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team made an immediate impression with a points-scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. Now, nine years later, the team continues to grow and set future objectives, coming off its second-best season to date.

Position Overview
This role reports to the R&D Team Leader or designee (factory-based) and is located in Banbury, UK. It involves component testing for performance, reliability, and proof testing, including all non-destructive testing of race car and pit equipment components. The role supports testing processes within strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Promote teamwork and effective communication across departments.
2. Collaborate with the R&D Lead Team Leader, report issues, and find timely solutions.
3. Perform non-destructive tests on car and off-car components.
4. Inspect in-service car parts during turnaround.
5. Follow test procedures for service and proof testing.
6. Operate R&D test equipment, loggers, and sensors.
7. Operate load frame testing equipment and procedures.
8. Document and report test results and faults.
9. Assist the R&D Team Leader in research and development tests.
10. Maintain cleanliness and condition of the work area, tools, and equipment.
11. Follow engineering procedures and safety regulations.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
* GCSE, High School diploma, or equivalent; further education preferred.
* At least five years of experience in motorsport, with knowledge of Metrology and NDT.
* Understanding of component tracking, report writing, and technical drawings.
* Experience in Formula 1 or high-level motorsports is preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and information.
* Mechanical understanding of jigs, fixtures, and race car systems.
* Knowledge of ISO standards, CAD, and inspection of composites.
* Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
* Problem-solving skills and team collaboration.
* Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Dynamics AX; experience with 3D scanning advantageous.
Physical & Work Environment
Must work efficiently in high-pressure environments, with occasional travel, long hours, and physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and manual dexterity. Safety and compliance are essential.
