Career Teachers Leeds are seeking enthusiastic one-to-one Teaching Assistants to join our team, supporting both daily and long-term roles.

Responsibilities of a 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
1. Work with children aged 5-11 in a classroom setting.
2. Work full or part-time hours, typically between 8 am and 4 pm.
3. Support children with additional needs.
4. Assist in implementing daily routines.
5. Work with children requiring behavior support.
6. Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
Qualifications:
Desirable but not essential:
* 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4 (A*-C), including English and Mathematics.
* Any Level 3 qualification in the education sector.
* Level 2 Award in Support Work.
* Level 2 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning (Induction Training for TAs & Support Staff).
* Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
* Previous experience as a teaching assistant with children.
* Fluent spoken and written English.
* Experience with Phonics, supporting children in reading and writing.
