Are you a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, who wants to further develop your skills with neurodivergence in a friendly, supportive and innovative team? Are you passionate about delivering mental health support and quality diagnoses for the neurodivergent population in the beautiful county of Buckinghamshire?

We're recruiting a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join Bucks CAMHS team supporting Neurodiverse individuals. This role is a part-time at 30 hours per week on a 12 month fixed term basis.

You will join a well-established, and knowledgeable multi-professional team. You will receive quality reflective supervision. You will use your skills to deliver quality assessments and interventions and influence service improvements. You will have opportunities to grow in your career, including developing your leadership skills and supervision of others as and continuing professional development and research opportunities. You will be a vital member of the team helping the system to understand the complete identity of the young person including their neurodivergence, mental health and developmental profile.

In this role, you'll be contributing to the triaging, assessment and intervention process for neurodivergent children and young people and experiencing mental health needs. You'll be assessing the mental health component of their experience and delivering evidence based interventions.

We work closely with families to build care plans and there's a lot of multi-agency networking involved, as you'll be in contact with schools. the local authority, play organisations and charities.

The main duties of the job include:

Comprehensive assessment

Shared formulation

Delivery and/or oversight of collaborative treatment plan using evidence-based interventions

Collaborative risk management

Support and supervision of colleagues

Multi-agency working
