<div><h3>Senior Sustainability & Environmental Manager</h3><p><b>£70,000 – £75,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits</b></p><p>Were supporting a rapidly growing construction and infrastructure group, part of a <b>£400m+ five-company organisation</b>, in the appointment of a <b>Senior Sustainability & Environmental Manager</b>.</p><p>With a strong pipeline of major projects valued between <b>£6m and £100m+</b> across the UK, this is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving business in a key leadership role, driving environmental performance and supporting continued growth.</p><h3>The Role</h3><p>This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving environmental compliance, performance and best practice across multiple live construction projects, while managing and developing a small team of environmental professionals.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide strategic and operational environmental leadership across the business</li><li>Manage and mentor a team of Environmental Managers</li><li>Oversee environmental compliance, audits, inspections and risk management across live projects</li><li>Support pre-construction activities, tenders and bid submissions</li><li>Drive continuous improvement of environmental management systems, including ISO 14001</li><li>Lead environmental initiatives across waste, materials management and resource efficiency</li><li>Support contaminated land management activities, including Materials Management Plans (MMPs) and CL:AIRE DoWCoP compliance</li><li>Work closely with project teams to embed environmental best practice throughout project delivery</li></ul><h3>About You</h3><ul><li>Strong environmental management experience within the construction sector, including leadership of teams and/or multi-site environmental functions</li><li>Excellent understanding of UK environmental legislation, compliance and stakeholder management</li><li>Technical expertise in ISO 14001, environmental audits and inspections, waste management, permits, Materials Management Plans (MMPs) and CL:AIRE DoWCoP</li><li>Proven ability to identify environmental risks, drive compliance and implement continuous improvement initiatives across projects and operations.</li></ul><h3>Whats on Offer</h3><ul><li>£70,000 – £75,000 basic salary + discretionary bonus</li></ul></div>
