We're seeking a Retail Assistant to join the team at our Christchurch Garden Centre
Responsibilities
* Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
* Greet customers with a warm and friendly manner, creating a positive shopping experience.
* Assist customers with any enquiries or concerns, providing exceptional customer service.
* Maintain a neat and organised checkout area, ensuring a clean and inviting space for customers.
* Provide assistance to customers, enabling them to easily locate self-service trolleys and shopper baskets.
* Assist customers with larger heavier items and return trolleys left in car park to the Garden Centre.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience of cash handling and customer service in a similar environment.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
Please note that some heavy lifting is involved when assisting with trolleys as well as working outdoors in all weathers
The successful candidate will work an average of 25 hours per week across a 2-week rota;
Week 1 Week 2
Monday 10-6 Monday 10-6
Friday 9:30-1 Thursday 9:30-6
Saturday 9-6 Friday 9:30-5:30
Sunday 10-5
