Job Opportunity: Quality, Safety, Health and Environment (QSHE) Manager
Irwin and Colton are pleased to have been engaged by an industry-leading FM organisation that is looking to bring on board a new QSHE Manager to lead health and safety programs for a major site in Surrey. The role involves leading QHSE requirements across the site, ensuring compliance across departments and staff.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing health and safety team, aiming to drive positive change in a professional and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
* Engage with key stakeholders to foster a strong health and safety culture among staff, subcontractors, and site operatives.
* Maintain high standards of supplier performance and develop health and safety management systems aligned with best practices.
* Analyze risks in the working environment and implement changes to mitigate them.
* Ensure on-site contractors comply with legislation and company guidelines.
Candidate Requirements:
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and membership of a professional body.
* Proven experience in the built environment, preferably in facilities management (Hard FM).
* Experience influencing and engaging subcontractors to foster safety and compliance culture.
* Strong understanding of ISO systems (ISO 45001, 14001, 9001).
* Experience in the life sciences/R&D sector is advantageous.
