Warehouse Manager
Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and people-focused Warehouse Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and administrative functions, including 3PL services. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational excellence, team development, and outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all warehouse and administrative operations, ensuring full compliance with Security, Dangerous Goods, AEO, and all H&S / Legal requirements with a safety-first culture.
* Lead and coach your team to deliver high standards of performance and professionalism.
* Monitor and optimise warehouse space, inventory and Warehouse Management System processes.
* Conduct performance reviews, manage rotas, and oversee agency/part-time staff usage.
* Prepare accurate reports and contribute to wider business performance goals.
* Take the lead in implementation and continuous improvement / Six Sigma / 5S, being a champion on site.
* Have a forward-thinking mindset, taking ownership and responsibility to identify, agree, and execute improvements throughout the warehouse.
* Maintain and develop relationships with XPand customer base, providing support and a high level of service for all Basildon warehouse clients in conjunction with the Branch Manager.
* Ensure a safe, organised, and welcoming warehouse environment for all team members.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management.
* Strong people leadership skills, able to motivate, coach, and develop teams.
* Knowledge of warehousing best practices, 3PL operations, stock control, road and ocean activities (desirable).
* Experience with AEO and dangerous goods compliance.
* A proactive, improvement-focused mindset with a hands-on approach.
* Clear communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
