Counter Sales Person – Aintree
We're looking for a Counter Sales Person to join the team at our Aintree branch. Our sales people thrive on great conversations, building lasting relationships, and driving branch success.
Responsibilities
* Build connections with customers in person, over the phone, and in the branch or yard, providing expert advice.
* Create tailored solutions – prepare quotes, follow up on enquiries, and develop leads.
* Keep essential admin running smoothly and efficiently.
* Offer guidance with up-to-date product knowledge to help customers find the best materials.
* Enhance the shopping experience – maintain well‑stocked, inviting displays.
* Collaborate across the branch with colleagues, including yard and counter sales, to support the team.
Qualifications
Good customer service skills, good computer literacy, previous retail or sales experience, strong product knowledge and a background within a builders’ merchant environment would be a real advantage.
