Purpose of the role
Reporting to the Head of IT, this role assists with the development and maintenance of IT applications for Phoebe Philo Ltd, ensuring that the applications are user-friendly, effective, cost-efficient, secure, and compliant.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with all departments to understand their requirements and implement suitable technology solutions.
* Optimize the front-end e-commerce stack with the digital team.
* Enhance Airtable solutions supporting the company's design and development processes.
* Work with finance to optimize systems for accounting, reporting, VAT, payroll, and online payments.
* Coordinate with logistics for carrier management, shipping labels, and returns.
* Support sustainability data collection and tracking systems.
* Ensure system integrations are optimized, resilient, secure, and compliant.
* Manage relationships with partners and contractors.
* Provide guidance and training on systems and platforms.
* Maintain operational reliability, security, and compliance of technology services.
* Ensure technology processes comply with laws like GDPR.
* Drive cross-team collaboration for technology rollouts.
Qualifications, Skills, Experience Required
* Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
* 3-5 years’ experience in fashion technology roles, preferably in luxury fashion e-commerce.
* Experience in start-up/scale-up environments.
* Knowledge of current and emerging technologies and application development.
* Experience with systems like Shopify, Hubspot, Avalara, Global-E, JOOR, Brightpearl, Airtable, Microsoft Business Central, Concur, SDI, and low/no-code platforms like MAKE.
* Proven ability to lead technology projects.
* Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership qualities.
