About the Role
As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you'll play a key role in shaping procurement operations within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you'll lead supplier performance initiatives, drive process improvements, and support team development. Key Responsibilities
1. Lead procurement activities across designated categories
2. Manage supplier relationships, lead times, pricing strategies, and performance tracking
3. Drive forecasting and demand planning alongside commercial and sales teams
4. Contribute to pricing reviews and KPI reporting for leadership
5. Champion process improvements and ensure compliance with internal standards
6. Mentor and guide junior team members, supporting growth and succession planning
7. Support ERP database accuracy and procurement system development
8. Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training
What We're Looking For
9. Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement
10. CIPS Level 4 qualification or willingness to work towards it
11. Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
12. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
13. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems
14. A proactive, positive mindset with a drive for excellence and collaboration
