Position: SEND Teacher Location: Hampton, Greater London Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 08:00-15:30 Salary: Paid to Scale About the School Our vibrant, inclusive primary school in Teddington is committed to providing high-quality education for all learners. We are seeking an experienced SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Teacher to join our dedicated team and support pupils with diverse needs. Key Responsibilities • Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum and individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). • Collaborate with class teachers, teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies to implement tailored interventions. • Conduct regular progress monitoring, maintain accurate records, and produce timely reports for parents and senior leaders. • Lead whole-school SEND initiatives, including staff training, inclusion strategies, and behaviour management. • Contribute to the development of a supportive, respectful learning environment that promotes pupil wellbeing and independence. Essential Qualifications & Experience • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a minimum of 2?years teaching experience, preferably in a mainstream setting. • PGCE/MA in Special Educational Needs or a related postgraduate qualification. • Proven knowledge of SEND legislation, EHCP processes, and best-practice interventions. • Strong communication, organisational, and collaborative skills.
