An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Diabetes & Endocrinology Directorate to join our administrative team. The role supports services across East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust sites, primarily Barbara Castle Way, Accrington PALS, and Royal Blackburn Hospital, with cross-site working required.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual who can work independently and as part of a team, with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and high-quality customer care.
The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support, including managing referrals, booking and cancelling appointments, maintaining waiting lists, supporting clinic coordination, and updating patient records using systems such as Cerner and EMIS.
This is a key role supporting clinical teams and service delivery, ensuring efficient patient pathways and high-quality care.
The Diabetes & Endocrinology Directorate is focused on delivering safe, personal, and effective care to our patients and population, fostering an ethos of continuous improvement across all services.
